I admit, this movie was perfect for a movie based in WW1. It's way of showing the war was very historically accurate, and it gave me a better idea of what war was like during the 1900's. This movie really showed the Germans side of life during the harsh war years. All Quiet on the Western Front shows their audience death by disease, war, starvation, and all ideas were given with historical accuracy. The characters really shadowed the life of a soldier in WW1, along with the story of how hard a death can really hit a man.
